Centsy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

Centsy is a personal finance application, currently in private testing. This policy describes what data Centsy handles and how.

Data we access

With your permission, Centsy uses Plaid to connect to your financial institutions and retrieve account balances and transaction history. We receive account and transaction data and account identifiers. We do not receive or store your online banking username, password, or other login credentials — Plaid handles authentication directly with your institution. We do not collect your Social Security number.

How we use it

Account and transaction data is used solely to show you your own financial information within Centsy — balances, spending, plans, and forecasts. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for their own use, or use it for advertising.

Storage and retention

Your data is stored encrypted at rest. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, and we will remove it from our systems.

Plaid

Centsy’s use of Plaid is governed by Plaid’s end-user privacy policy: plaid.com/legal.
